James teaches Electric guitar using ‘Hal Leonard - Guitar Method’, ‘Blues You Can Use’, ‘Play Guitar With...’ series and the ‘Rockschool’ examination syllabus. James encourages all his students to study Grades as well as learning popular tunes, chords and riffs. It is important for students to learn on a Full Size 6-String Electric Guitar. 


Yamaha Pacifica 112v (£130 approx)

The Pacifica 112 has become a modern day classic. A best seller for over ten years , this guitar is consistently voted the best entry level guitar. At a remarkably reasonable price the guitar features a solid alder body, which in conjunction with the powerful bridge humbucker and two single-coil pickups produces an impressive palette of vintage and rock sounds. Along, with its easy playability and first rate construction it provides a great guitar for the money. Roland Cube 20x Amplifier (£119 approx)

Roland's famous CUBE amplifier has great features such as Power Squeezer for maximum sustain without maximum volume, a fully equipped guitar tuner, a mini-jack aux in for playing along to MP3 and CD players, and of course that incredible CUBE sound, this amp is built to rock! The CUBE includes  amp-models: Acoustic, Overdrive, Distortion, Metal, Metal Stack, and Tube Drive. Also the onboard effects include: flanger, phaser, tremolo, chorus, reverb and delay.
